The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with competent and professional acoustic piano tuner-technicians who can tune, repair, regulate, and rebuild upright and grand pianos.
Graduates will work independently, to a recognised standard, either as employees or as sole traders.

As a Band Lab member, you’ll enjoy weekly rehearsals with a full set up, including PA, drums, instrument amps, and keyboards - all ready to go. You’ll join a band with fellow players who share your skill level and musical interests. A professional tutor will guide your group over the term’s journey, bringing everything together.
At the end of the rehearsal programme, your band will take the stage for a live gig, at a local venue, performing for friends, family, and fellow collaborators.

In collaboration with OMAC and through STAR, Let's Go offers rangatahi aged 16 and over the opportunity to come together, play in a band, and perform a live gig. We have Amp'd 26 - a fun, week long course is designed to ignite your passion for music ; and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) course both creating a solid foundation in the essential skills needed for creative work in music.

A personalised 10 -session mentorship programme designed to help bands improve performance, collaboration and recording skills. This package includes expert feedback on rehearsals, live performances and demo recordings, both face-to-face and online options are available.
Mentors will provide written and recorded feedback, tailored to the band's style and goals.

Weekend Warriors is New Zealand's most exciting and fun adult rock band programme!
If you used to play in a band or have been jamming in the backroom and always wanted to join a band, try the Weekend Warriors programme! You will be in a band with other hobbyist players of a similar level supported by a professional tutor. Over 8 weeks you will bring it all together resulting in a big Weekend Warrior gig complete with staging, lighting, sound techs as an awesome night of entertainment.
Many bands stay together and many return to the programme many times, forming new friendships.

Spend a full week levelling up your improvisation in an immersive workshop running 9:00am–3:00pm each day. You’ll learn how to improvise with confidence through a balanced mix of theory and hands-on playing: scales and modes, timing, contour, vocabulary, harmony (for pianists), and—most importantly—deep listening to each other and to great solos.
Expect to be kept in the stretch zone: it will challenge you, but you’ll finish the week with practical tools, clearer musical instincts, and a roadmap you can keep using on your own improvisation journey.

This micro-credential aims to prepare learners to have an introductory understanding of taxation practices in Aotearoa, New Zealand. It learners who are small business owners or sole traders in the creative sector, with an introductory understanding of New Zealand's tax law and regulations. Learners will develop knowledge and skills of the tax system, specifically in Goods and Services Tax (GST), income tax, and invoicing, which contribute to compliance and support tax-related decisions for the growth or sustainability of their businesses in the creative sector.
